I like to eat 'em raw...skin and all. That way they have a wonderful
combination of sugary sweetness combined with face-puckering sourness. A
tastier, more natural version of all of those sweet&sour candies they make.

Mmmmmmm!

>A kumquat is a small citrus fruit About 4 cm big and has the color of an
>orange.
>If you simmer them slowly in a sugar syrup you can eat them whole. They
>have the nice sourish/bitter taste as all the citrus fruits. They go very
>well with ice cream, pancakes etc.
>You might be able to get them in a better assorted vegetable specialist.
>I'm sure you can find them in Amsterdam.
>If you like you can also come over with your family to me and I will
>prepare them for you.
>Best regards,
