Very well put, Robert. I second every words you said. A tad bigger size
has never bothered me. It rather gives better grip. Metering (spot) is
considered better than that in the M6.

Best Regards,
David

Bonsoir Art,

  Ahhh, the M5.   Here goes;

1- Speeds visible in the finder
2- Large shutter speeds dial
3- Diaphragm open/close indication in the finder
4- Ratcheted rewind lever
5- Analog continuous metering scale visible in the finder (none of that
bright LED crap)
6- Battery test lever & indication in the finder
7- Spot metering
8- Metering area visible in the finder
9- 3 lugs possibility
10-Typical Leitz (as opposed to Leica) craftsmanship

I guess the M5 still rules.

  Best,

  Robert (Un chevalier sans blason)
