Don's absolutely right, Greg - You should definitely go for CS - It
truly is Photoshop for Photographers.

Greg,
While I understand your frustration with paying for upgrades, you really
should pay the $170 or so US for CS.  Being able to work almost
completely in 16 bit, the healing brush, and the phenomenal
Highlight/Shadow tool make that a paltry amount of money for the tools
provided.

Ah, geee, it only works with Photoshop CS.  What a surprise.

I've been paying through the nose of Photoshop since Ver:2.5 for
Windows. I have 3.05 ( great version), 4, 5.5 and 6.... That's enough
for me... I quit.
