Thanks very much, that's greatly helpful.

The lens that I most use with the 11x14 is a Schneider Symmar-S 360mm 
f6.8, which has an image circle of about half a meter.  The 11x14 
diagonal is about 450mm, so I have enough for some limited swing, tilt, 
rise, etc.
