This may have to do with punctuality issues.
I bet he'd have the same issue with Courtney L.

But it could be something else.

Maybe she sold him a rotten donut.

In the late 70's Madonna was "the donut girl".
She ran a donut stand and friends of mine use to buy donuts from her.
She was well known even then for that.
