The LUG volume has gotten out of hand recently. I think that if everyone 
could resist the urge to say "me too" or "ha ha" or ":-)", things would calm 
down a lot.

Before you post, stop to ask yourself if what you have to say will be 
edifying to a thousand people. As I review the posts of the last few days, I 
think that in general the answer would have been "no".
