Subject: [Leica] Is there even a future in high end digital?

Absolutely true that photographers will require whatever magazines
demand - but more and more magazines are accepting digital as digital
improves. Would that it weren't so.

Dan C. writes,

there will be very little printed magazines etc.<<

Actually, the number of magazines in publication is growing, despite our

online world. I forget where I read that, but the point was that people
like the
feel of a magazine in hand. The convenience of being able to flip to a
page
or article easily. The ability to flop back on a rainy Sunday
afternoon, read
or peruse a bit while waiting for the couch monster kidnap the reader
to
snoozeland. Of course, one can do that with a laptop, but a magazine
performs
the inevitable off-belly dismount more quietly and with less expensive
consequences.

I'm thinkin' photographers will require whatever magazines demand.
