Subject: [Leica] 75mm 1.4 - Any pics?

I don't have one and have no pics to show, but the Summilux 75, in my
opinion, is one of the great lenses available for 35mm photography. It
produced images that are beautiful. I only don't have one because the one I
borrowed showed me that I am poor at focusing it accurately wide open. This
may have been a camera body-lens issue and I may look at getting one in the
future.

I also really like some Zeiss lenses and the Zeiss-M mount lenses and Ikon
camera have got me quite excited - but looking at the Zeiss Ikon website,
the saggital and tangential MTF measurements for some of the lenses are very
different - I have seen this before in some Zeiss lenses that I was not fond
of, like the 35/2.8 for the Contax SLRs. It seems to translates into weird
picture-taking characteristics, like unpredictable sharpness and contrast
depending on the primary texture of the subject. I will probably still
investigate them when they come out, but it seems strange to me to talk them
up so much then to show those MTFs. Did anyone notice this too?
