Subject: [Leica] How to examine a used M3

One of the local photo emporiums has a late-model M3 for sale on
consignment (I assume).

It LOOKS good and he's asking something like $800.

So how do I check this puppy out? Yeah, it's been years since I bought
a used camera - in fact since I was in college and bought a Leica IIIg
from Brooks Camera in SF.

The price seems in-line with reality.

I'd appreciate your advice.
