I don't really use them. To me they get in the way. I go with the white
floor. And it's a very small "studio" room with white walls. There is light
kicking around all over the place.

Part of my wall to my right as I shoot is black velvet for when I need drop
out black for a backdrop I shoot over there.

The fact that is sucking in some light during the shoots instead of
everything being white I think is a plus.

Black 'reflectors" are good tools.

They are not reflectors thought they are in effect "suckers".

They'll darken a side of a face if its off to that side.
