Mine was weirdly stiff and knotchy only in one direction, from 0.7 m to 
infinity. Smooth as butter the other way. Is yours biased one way or 
the other?

I definitely love the results and also the fact it is a fraction of the 
weight and focuses closer than the the Noctilux it replaced.
