That was not my intention.  But now that you bring it up, Several of the 
new specialty Chryslers recently introduced, have heavy MB input and 
components, so they are pretty close to being pseudo MB's.  In this case, 
both companies have reaped benefits from each others technology, according 
to several engineering publications.

You mean like big patriotic American automobile companies being actually
owned by Germans?

Sorry - there is no way you can pretend a Chrysler is a Daimler or even a
Benz.... :-)
