The Oly 5050 that I use has a B&W mode that impresses me the same way. I 
regret that my D70 doesn't have a B&W mode. So I've got to convert the color 
to B&
W in PS. I prefer in-camera B&W. I've no doubt that when the digital M 
appears, it will have a native B&W mode.
