Subject: [Leica] Question for Summilux Lens Hood

The original hood would have been the 12521(XOOIM). It is of
conventional design so it will block some of the viewfinder. The later
12586 will fit and is a better user as it is a reverse brake design so
it will not block the viewfinder.

The second optical design started at 1 844 001.
