Actually Rick I hate to be a stckler but........(I will anyway)

My Father was working in Darwin as a judge circa 1980's around the time of
the Azaria Chamberlain Baby vs Dingo case. Anyway one day he got up to go
shooting Buffalo (don't even bother to ask why he does that). As he went
down to one of the fords on the way out to the game reserve there was a lot
of commotion around the area. A group of police officers turned up with
.270's high powered rifles and proceded to (during the course of the next
few days) cull crocs. Why.......? Well some guy got drunk that afternoon and
had decided to swim. Whist in the water he saw a croc. He thought F**k and
climbed A TREE. The croc (having enough depth under the tree branch)
Propelled itself from the water 3-3.5 meters caught the guy by the left arm
and ate him. NO SHIT. They found his remains inside the belly of one of the
shot crocs (over 6"3 ) about two days later. Wait for this.... The papermate
pen in his pocket still wrote my dad has a picture of a copper writing with
the guys pen on his hand (and a photo of the victim in the belly). Gross
huh. This had two witnesses who attested to the stories truth who were on
the other side of the river in flood when it occurred.

I suppose they don't climb but you also aint necessarily safe up a tree
either!!!!!

Alex
