In my case, Apple's Quicktime started up and displayed the image when I loaded the image into Internet Explorer. And I was able to save it to my harddrive, but I can't recall what I did. I think when I right clicked on it, there was an option, "save target as", which worked. In my opinion, the image did look very good at first glance, but I don't think any of the current crop of 6mp DSLRs (for example, the new Minolta 7D) would have done any worse. -dan c.
