Subject: [Leica] First digital camera for my son?

My son (4 1/2) really loves to pretend to take pictures.
(daddy is ALWAYS snapping away with his M7)

I think he is ready for his first camera.
Any 'my first' camera suggestions? I think digital would be the way to go 
over film.
I am thinking toy-based but real.
