The background colors and shapes set off the flowers, and add interest to what would otherwise be - a photo of wet flowers. There is nothing in the photo that says a rainy day in Arizona - perhaps some wet cactus, or at least cactus shapes, a wet Gila Monster, a soaked octogenarian - other than your title. ;-) But nice shot none-the-less.
