You know what the famous Jeff Rotherberg's quote says:

?Digital information lasts forever... or five years, whichever comes 
first.?

BTW I have two A3 prints done with a Epson 1520 four years ago, with 
Epson papers and inks, they stand in a reasonably good shape yet, 
framed, indoors and exposed to indirect sunlight everyday. In fact I 
never cared so much about their conservation. A friend has some 
portraits printed in a dye-sublimation one that stand perfect the last 
seven years, framed and hanging off his living room wall.

Anyway we made them without any expectation over their lifespan, I'd 
never sell them as art prints because they havent proved nothing more 
than a decent persistence on a few copies.
