Thanks for the clarification, Douglas.
In trying to get to the bottom of Bob's original post, I googled
Leica for some financial news, and found instead articles dated
December 9, 2004 about Nokia (cell phone manufacturers) 
acquiring Leica.   Now before anyone starts jumping around ...
