>Ted - You should consider a 1D Mark II instead or in addition to the
>20D's. It is one fantastic camera. I'm e-mailing from San Miguel
>Allende, Mexico, where I'll be for the next month. I've been
>walking all around town with the Mark II. It's heavy but
>well-balanced and the high speed photos beat anything I've seen.
>There was a Christmas celebration going on in the square tonight and
>I took lots of photos at 800 ISO. The battery I charged when I got
>the camera is still going strong with no signs of getting weaker.
>And the Mark II gives you a different focal length so you'll have
>that many more to choose from!!

I recently hefted one of these at a camera store in Japan and
instantly fell in love with it. The 8 frames per second is amazing,
the buffer transfer speed is even more amazing. Given the choice
between the 1D Mk II and the 1Ds Mk II, I'd be torn. With the
documentary photography I'm doing these days, I'd get the 1D Mk II
most probably.

But my wrists! My poor wrists! Are you working out, Tina? :-)
