I never undestand a thing you write... Why do your "retch" at using 
Minolta?  The only reason that I have any Leica R equipment is that I 
actually wore out three Minolta SR bodies and was looking at something 
to replace them that might last longer but that functioned the same 
way.  Oh, well, I am not a professional and the red dot is just an 
occasional annoyance when you scratch  it.  ;)
