The average return for general stock, once you have your images at the 
stock house, is about $1.00 a year per photo. What it really means is 
that out a whole bunch of images, you'll have a few work horses that 
will generate income. So let's say you submit 3000 images to a photo 
bank, then consider $300 to be an average. Once people get to know your 
work, the average goes up to above 10%, but rarely over 20%.
What the process does do, is also make you available for assignments 
through the photo bank.
Don't expect anything from the first year, or the second (sometimes).
