Hey, that's not fair. LF is a different animal, and should not be compared
to a PJ style of photography.
Hit ratios are hardly the issue of amateur photography.  It is the enjoyment
of the hobby, in ones own terms and definitions,  that counts.

As a different point of view.....If you think your hit ratio should go up,
maybe you  should spend more time in deciding on your shot.

Pros, PJ's, and others that actually get PAID to take pictures have a
different criteria of success.  Sometimes on this list, that differentiation
gets lost.

Large format shooters also have a very high "hit" percentage. But if
I was spending 20 minutes for each shot, maybe I would too! :-)
