Subject: [Leica] D'lux 1 & 2 and external flashes

I've had a 1 until now. It would not fire "ordinary" flashes, i.e., with
high trigger voltages,
e.g., Vivitar 2800 (100VDC). Bought a small Sunpak unit (5VDC) which worked
fine.

Now, with my new Digi 2, the opposite seems to be the case: the 2800 fires,
but not the Sunpak.

Any comment? I've no problem using the 2800 but hope the 100 volts won't
damage the camera.

The IB mentions two Leica flashes: SF20, SF24D. Anyone know their trigger
voltage?

TIA,
