I believe that to keep your copyright intact, you must object if you know he
is plagiarizing.  However, getting something done is another matter....  I
understand Microsoft ( with their lawyers) has prevented the sale of any
Microsoft product on Ebay by going after the lister and threatening them (
and probably Ebay as well).

It is all a matter of being able to pay the lawyers you need to enforce your
rights.
