Subject: [Leica] WTB - Starter Camera for 12 yr old

I have a slew of Minoltas, but the postage would kill the budget ;-). 
Still, the XD7 (it was a different model in USA) and the X700's are 
fine cameras. I am especially fond of the "7" and len quality in the 
Minolta range is not shabby either. Good workhorses, and the "7" is 
almost a Leica ;-)
