Anybody interested in buying a 4x5 Army Signal Corps Speed Graphic in poor
condition? Serial Number 839xxx. Make me an offer.
It has many of the usual Speed Graphic parts, including the Graflex
viewfinder on top, the Kalart range finder on the right side, the flash-gun
brackets,
the focal-plane shutter assembly, the trigger to trip the shutter, the
flip-up sports finder, the bellows assembly and a small metal plate on top
inscribed Signal Corps US Army Camera PH 47 H , order No. AF33
(O38)7715.The plate
also has a separate three-digit Army serial number.
The missing parts include the leather handle, rear ground glass, lens
board
and lens and the front piece of leather. Most of the remaining leather is
there but scuffed up. It would require major surgery to restore or would be
useful for parts.
