Subject: [Leica] Painting M3 / M2 / M4 Black

I'd like to see what the guys at West Coast Customs on MTV's "Pimp My
Ride" would do with a beater Leica. You know it would end up with a
wild paint job not to mention other custom features. Let's see...
Digital back? No problem. Connection to 50" Plasma TV? No problem. But
Xzibit with a Tilley hat? No, I don't think so. You can take things
only so far.

For those unfamiliar with the show, check it out at:

How about taking the camera to a decent auto body shop? If you can
remove
all the innards before hand, it should be easy to get just about any

you want baked onto the body.

A recent episode of "American Chopper" (shown in North America) shows
them
building a bike with copper plated parts (based on the Statue of
Liberty).
Imagine a Leica M copper plated with a protective clear coat. Now that
would be a beautiful camera!
