[Leica] Leica MP 0.58x - I think I'm being had.....

Hi

this is distressing news if it were indeed true. What is Leica going to 
sell then, through the regular channels? just the M7??

The latest issue of LeicaWorld News (available from the Leica website 
as a PDF document) states, on page 10 when talking about the ala carte 
program.....

"Standard models of the fully mechanical MP and the electronic M7 will 
be continued, but with 0.72 viewfinder magnification only."

Perhaps there's still hope that regular MPs with 0.72x can still be 
available through normal retail channels and that only 0.58x or 0.85x 
models will be included in the ala carte program?

I do want a black paint 0.58x MP, but not at ala carte prices :(
