Subject: [Leica] MULTIPLE MESSAGES
From: joecodi at clearsightusa.com (J. Codispoti)

This message is meant for Brian but maybe others are interested in the
problem.

For the past week I have been receiving hundreds of emails in strange
deliveries:

At times up to 7 duplicates come to the in box.
At other times, the entire mail load is downloaded from the server up to
three times at the interval set in the preferences for frequency of
delivery. Both include mail from the LUG as well as private messages.

My provider tells me that of his clients I am the only one with this
problem but cannot offer an explanation nor a solution. He thinks that a
virus may be the culprit (he tells me also that I am the only one with a
steady stream of infected emails).

Brian, do you give an idea what could cause this annoying problem?

Many thanks,
Joe
