He was also impressed with the IS and the engineering behind it. I would consider the Minolta except for the fact that it is 6 megapixels at a time when Canon has already gone to 8. I suppose this is a game we as consumers will not win. How much is enough as apposed to having the latest greatest. In reality for the kind of shooting and printing I do 6 is enough but it sure is nice to be able to crop and still retain image quality. Always a compromise isn't it? -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+skrneta=mindspring.com@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+skrneta=mindspring.com@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Feli Sent: Sunday, January 30, 2005 10:38 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] amazing... I just took another look at the layout of the Minolta. The two large dial control program mode and exposure compensation. Shutter speed / aperture is controlled via two small dial in in front / behind the shutter release. But a lot of other functions that normally would be buried in the main menu can directly be accessed by buttons. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/konicaminolta7d/ f On Jan 30, 2005, at 3:24 AM, Frank Dernie wrote: > This is a big deal IMHO.
