If you use an external USB harddisk to store your scans, raw-files and
what-not ... you might want to consider if you really want Picasa to scan
the whole disk for files.

I started up Picasa yesterday and my external disk was on. I had been
doing some scanning.

24 hours later and it's still tugging away. USB 2.0 might be faster than
USB 1.x ... but it's not _fast_.

Man ... I had no idea I had so many pictures online.
