The Leafscan, IMO, is still the best bw ever made. Only problem with mine is 
that I have to keep my Mac G3 running in order to use it, and I can only 
scan and save in 8-bit (I only have PS Elements for the Mac). Only thing I 
use the Mac for is scanning with the Leaf, and browsing.  I like Macs but 
migrated to the PC world some time ago.
