The M2 is fun. The D70 is convenient (some of the
digi snaps from yesterday have already found their way
into the music department publicity director's
mailbox), and it produces fine images. But, for me,
it isn't fun.
As for B&W... I could say that the light--a mix of
fluorescent, incandescent, and window--really screwed
up the white balance. And that would be largely true.
But, honestly, I would have converted anyway. I just
prefer B&W when shooting people.
