FOR WORK:
Nikon D2H with 18-70AFS, VH2000 bracket and SB800 with SC28
Nikon D70 with 10.5/2.8
In Domke F1X:
Spare SB800 and SB30 flash units
SC29 synch cord
Nikkor 50/1.8
Nikkor 180/2.8
Nikkor 24-120VR
12GB of CF cards in 512MB and 1GB sizes
25 AA NiMH batteries
one spare each ENEL3 and ENEL4 batteries
Leatherman wave
Cell Phone
PDA
Bridal emergency kit (new chapstick, breath mints, hard sugar candy, white
athletic tape, black masking tape, antibacterial baby wipes, bandaids,
Excedrin, bobby pins, safety pins, etc...)

On the Other Hand, FOR FUN:
Leica M4-P with CV 35/2.5 loaded with Portra800 or new TriX on an old leitz
thin leather strap...extra roll of film and DigiSix meter in pocket and if I
really think I'll need it, an Olympus S20 flash.
OR
Nikon D70 with 18-70 AFs loaded with 1GB card.

If I miss a 'for fun' shot because I've left my Summarit or Elmar at home or
have TriX in the camera when I wanted Portra800, so be it. The D70 weighs
seemingly as litle as the M4P but it is bulkier. Sometimes I put a 24/2.8 on
it
and that works well also.

I carry enough equipment when I'm working because I CAN'T miss the shot
then.
My back needs the break when I'm not making money with my cameras and I find
it
somewhat liberating not having to make lens change choices. If something
can't
be shot well enough with the lens of film that I happen to have with the
camera
at the moment, then I really don't need to photograph it or I have fun with
the
challenge. Photography is all about compromise anyhow.
