Subject: [Leica] BW Plugin Question

Been there, done that...Did a trade with Eric in which he sent me a
file, and I printed it on the 7960, and he then sent me a Fuji lightjet
print of the image- and you couldn't tell the difference between the wet
print and the 7960 print. I don't know if the prints from the new 13x19
printer will be as good, but if they are... :-)

And I think if I keep at it and find the magic formula of
film/developer/Jobo timing/scanner settings/etc., it may just be my
preferred method. It's so easy to develop B&W with the Jobo, it's
amazing I
didn't try it earlier! Xtol seems to give the fine grain I like, the
trick
is perhaps to fine tune something is get more sharpness. The scanner
part
is working OK, not ideal yet, but getting easier.

Might be interesting to do an experiment with Wet print direct from the
negatives vs. scanning and then print using say something like the 7960.

Anyone game for that? (I don't have an enlarger...)
