If you do go back to school, you might want to ask around about the
Academy of Art's reputation. When I was looking at art schools, the
AA's reputation wasn't stellar, there were accreditation issues and
the admissions process was nonexistent.

Another SF choices that seem well-regarded but isn't marketed as
heavily is the San Francisco Art Institute (www.sfai.edu). San
Francisco State has a photography program as well, I believe.
