Okay, get your lab to scan the film overnight. This is available at at least
4 locations here in New Orleans. Sometimes same day is an option. Scans are
6mp from 35mm, so more than enough for printing.

Now what happens when you take a digital SLR and it craps out on you? No
film and no files. Yes, I know there's backup. What if your files are
corrupt? What if..... What if..........

With pros it's almost always our fault for camera failure. "Looks like you
dropped it", "Nope, that dent's always been there"
