Here's a thought for people with way too much time on their hands concerned 
about Leica shutter release noise. ;-) 
 
Instead of talking about all this clicker-clatter and not busying yourselves 
in taking pictures, why not get one of those industrial noise meters, 
haven't got a clue what they're called. Take it to several "church and other 
theatre sites" click shutter measure sound rather than trying to rely on the 
usually faulty hearing of our human ears? Doesn't that sound simple and 
common sense? 
 
Then your concerns would be verified and you could get on shooting! :-)
