75% my arse. Sony outsells Canon in the digital camera department, though
Canon is catching up.

In terms of digital SLR sales, the Nikon D70 owned the number 1 title in
2004.

Now we could say Sanyo sells more digital cameras since they make cameras
for other large companies(Olympus,Nikon...)

this statistic, "Canon now sells 75% of all digital cameras." (He might have
even said 85%.) In terms of volume, whichever percentage it is translates
into more digital camera sales that all other manufacturers. Combined.

technological advances far beyond those any other manufacturer. I can easily
imagine the Canon technoids testing, refining and discarding a sixpack of
potential digital advances while another manufacturer is still futzing
around trying to pop the top (or back) on its first digital SLR.
