Luis,

Most of my M6 TTL shooting is at f/4-5.6 with 15th or 30th second indoors. I
turn the flash down to 1/3 or even 2/3 power and almost always get a great
result unless I get too far away from the subject.

Are you shooting inside or outside? Outside can suck when you only have 50th
sec to synch from.
