Dennis.... not an argument, but can you please expand on your thought
below.. I do not understand how you can predict the number of additional
releases required.   Of course, the obvious answer is only 1 additional
release.... when there are no more bugs.  Of course, WHEN that will happen
is the indeterminate under that criteria.....  Back to square one.

Or do you mean that after all is said and done, you count ( retroactively)
the number of releases that were made to the product?

PS: a fair metric for quality of firmware is the number of additional
releases
made for bug fixes.
