Unfortunately the 35-70 f/4 and the 24 protrude too far into the mirror 
chamber to work on the SL.  SL2, yes.  SL, no.  FOr the SL the 35-70 f/3.5 
will do, stop it down to f/5.6 or so for best performance.  For something 
wider consider the 28 or 21, or if you really want a 24mm lens, find a 
Vivitar or Soligor T-4 mount 24mm f/2.8.
