yes, in the past many jazz musicians played Baldwin/

At some point, that changed. The Blue Note and Birdland in New York City 
both have B?sendorfers as their house pianos.

Oscar Peterson plays one. Look at his photos on his web site or pick up a 
B?sendorfer broschure. Andre Previn does as well.

It think Baldwin went bankrupt. That may have had something to do with it. 
They made a very nice concert grand. A friend has a 9 foot and I like it 
better than many Steinways because the registers seem much more balanced.
