Apples and oranges.

I'm a world-class writer (he says immodestly) and an average, so-so 
photographer. It's not because one is harder than the other, it's because 
reading and writing are closer to the center of my being than are pictures 
and sounds. Great writing is easier for me than great photography, but 
neither is actually easy.
