The 1d II is much faster (focus, data through put, higher fps), it is 
environmentally sealed
and generally built like tank. You will be shocked by the weight of a 
1DII the first time you pick it up.
It's heavier than it looks and feels like it was carved from a block of 
metal. Image quality between
  the two cameras is similar. The 1D II has a x1.3 mag factor and the 20 
is x1.6
