Subject: [Leica] where oh where is the DMR?

I expect that the sensor design could be quite different to handle the wider 
angle of entry of some of the light due to the narrower film/lens 
difference.  I believe that at the time that the DMR was announced Leica 
wrote that a Digital M was not practical at the time.

I interpreted that new sensor technology would have to be applied.
