I think Nikon and most manufactures have elected not
to go full frame with their lineup and DX lenses. More
usable space of the image, even with photoshop or
whatever, full frame 35 mm has to be dreadfully
cropped to make a 8 x 10. Plus, image rendition with a
digital camera and regular lens is made considerably
with the center of the lens. Full frame may really
become a non issue amongst non Canon users.
