I think she's terrified that her son will yield to pressure and start to photograph Jenna and Barbara wannabees. Isn't it ironic that the "garbage" he cites was just featured in today's New York Times as part of an ongoing photographic essay series? If Leicaphiles want to see gorgeous color and beautifully framed shots there's always Dr. Paul Wolff and Walter Benser. Their images usually come with lots of technical data, and generally could bore the shit out of a constipated snail. Give me a Geebee landscape any day, or one of your visits to the waterfront.
